ARA Micro-Grants Showcase Event
A virtual event where the ARA will showcase innovative and impactful grassroots action research from the Global South funded through the ARA Grassroots Action Research Micro-Grants Programme.
The event will be held in two different sessions conducted via Zoom platform, each featuring four presentations from different micro-grantees addressing local challenges of climate change adaptation through research and action.
Session 1: 10:00 – 11:30 CET

- BRAZIL: Autonomy, Sustainability and Peoples
Good Living: catalyzing the power of community-led climate adaptation and nature-based alternatives in the Atlantic Forest (Instituto Cabruca) - URUGUAY: Local leadership and community resilience in response to a global impact: water scarcity (Sociedad Amigos del Viento -ADELV)
- ZIMBABWE: Community adaptation to climate change through diverse and sustainable livelihood portfolios of nature-based enterprises
